Its not detrimental to SAFC at all. Players losing heavily in an international friendly will not let it affect their club form, hell Gyan had the mental fortitude to recover from missing the biggest penalty of his life in about 20 minutes to enable him to belt his next one into the back of the net. That showed spirit and determination and suggested that if Ghana lose to England he isnt going to go into his shell and cry about it. Mart Poom played quite well throughout his career, even though Estonia tended to get fucked, didn't affect him too badly. Players are professionals, hence they know club and international football are separate and can put disappointments at international level out of their minds. If it makes you feel better, I hope Welbeck scores all 5

Great, line up and show the world you are a f***ing imbecile

I have my own reasons on top of what he said. I spend a lot of time in Ghana - they're all watching tonight, it's massive for them. Capello and co couldn't give a fuck, sent all the big names home and insulted the 20k Ghana fans who have travelled from all corners of the globe to be at Wembley. Fuck England - I hope they get turned over.

Not even reading that. Youre a f***ing idiot

These "big names" that are so swelled by national pride themselves that they would rather spend tonight at home doing fuck all than play for their country.

Why I'm supposed to give a fuck about England when the players don't is beyond me.

I'm 23 and I agree with every word he has said. Haway the Black Stars!

Im 35 and I agree too, just because we want Ghana to win doesnt mean we are going to turn into supporters,I want Ghana to win because they have 3 of our players playing and also I enjoyed watching them in the world cup.
As it stands at the minute Capello hasnt been to the Sol since 2009,a disgrace when you think about it,but over the years Sunderland players havent been given a fair chance with England which saddens me.I am also still angry about comments from Bent about having more of a chance with England moving clubs, and after his omission from the world cup squad you have to say thats proof enough for that theory, but then for the tit of a manager to back this up publicly ,this has really turned me further against the current England set up.If this ever changes then I may feel differently.

Firstly (and I admit I may be wrong) I would be surprised if many of their fans have travelled far, there will be a lot of Ghanaian lads in England and they will make up the vast majority of Ghana's support. People are quick enough to say that England arent a big draw, and Ghana have played much better teams in competitive games etc (which is right enough), so I'm not going to suddenly believe that any considerable number have travelled.

Anyway, even if I'm wrong, it isnt an "insult" to Ghana and their fans. The fact is that its a friendly, Capello is supposed to (not that he generally does a good job of it) look after the best interests of the England side. If he feels that it will help maintain a better relationship with club bosses if he lets players involved in the CL latter stages go home, then it is the right decision to send them home. No guarantee has been made that it will be a full strength side, its up to us to choose which players we want to play- in many ways I'm glad we are getting to have a look at some lads who arent automatic choices, thats what friendlies are for. If Ghana fans are going to be "insulted" by that, then maybe they should have learned something about international football before flying in from "all corners of the globe".

It's all just a bit of fun for me, although I wouldn't be watching tonight's game if England were playing anyone else, so what does that tell you? I haven't watched an England game since the WC and as long as that twat Crapello's in charge I doubt I'll watch another one. The only other time in my life I felt something close to the way I do now about England was when we were under Graham Taylor, after the joys of watching Bobby Robson's England they replace him with that wanker and we were f***ing shit... it still doesn't come close to how I feel about them atm though, I literally couldn't give a fuck for them. So ha'way Ghana, thanks to the Black Stars I've got a game of football to watch tonight.

So your just supporting whoever England are playing at the minute?
