Re: haway no excuses get to the match

I'm going and so is my wife.

Re: haway no excuses get to the match

You sound like you only started going when the new stadium was built (and yes I went to all the games at home that season, including the defeat by Hartlepool in the worst weather possible at a footy match) ignoring the fact we more often than not struggled to fill a stadium that had a capacity less than half of what we have now. We simply do not have the fan base to fill our stadium at present and only real success will bring that, not a run of 10 or so games. Our crowds are f***ing immense at present, not really sure how anyone can argue against that.

but our empty seats quota is higher than wigan's. we should be ashamed

Re: haway no excuses get to the match

Harsh but fair...

And they still call themselves supporters... how do they support the team? *

*for legal reasons Rain would like to point out anyone who genuinly cant afford £20 or who for what ever reason simply cannot attend (heart surgery etc.) is not technically a twat. Further Rain would like to appilogise to twats everywhere for comparing them to pretend plastic Sunderland supporters who could easilly attend today but choose not to. These people rate much lower than Mags because they are actually damaging SAFC and our chances of success, the utter utter twats. Fuck off with your excuses buy a ticket and cheer the lads to th QFs. That is all. FTM

How does the amount of people turning up damage SAFC? We are one of the top supported clubs in the country

You are claiming our support is poor because we can't fill one of the biggest stadiums in the country. You sound as if you have only been going for around 14 years with bollocks like that.

Re: haway no excuses get to the match

a club of our size should get at least 40,000 for a game like this . 20 quid in against a top 4 team and a great chance to get to a quarter final and loads of people are saying im watching it on telly or garn to the pub to watch for fook sake gan to the match you part time fookers

One of the main reasons the club is the 'size' it is, is the generations of my family, and thousands of others, who have supported it over the last century or so.

Quite why anyone feels the need to give a reason for their non-attendance today to a pathetic attention seeking bag of knob cheese like you is beyond me.

Class mate, commitment.

Re: haway no excuses get to the match

I can't understand how any "supporter" can opt to stay at home, watch on telly or go to a pub when he/she has the opportunity to go to the game, unless it's strictly financial or due to commitments...I'd give my eye teeth to get to any game at any time if I wasn't 2000 miles away and costing over a grand for each game....which I do anyway as many as 12 times a year...no excuses lads...you either support the club or you don't...there's no room for fence-sitters and plastic fans!
