Mumba was tidy but every game he played passed him by and Kimpioka doesn't look ready at all.

Maja had already done relitively well in the league above and got more game time because he was better than them both.
Well if the games passed Mumba by, the game passes our midfield by most weeks. He was very good against Charlton and in one or two of the EFLT games. I get that when he went back to u23s he didn't stand out but think it's far more important how he looked in the senior team.

The vast majority of people on here thought Maja was 'shite' last season, one decent goal and that was it. Kimpioka may look awkward and be inconsistent but if having poor control was a barrier to playing in this league Wyke wouldn't have played a single minute this season. Even when he plays well he can control further than most can kick it. Kimpioka's pace should have been utilised off the bench at least, it scares the hell out of defenders.

He wasn't 'very good' v Charlton. He was OK. He was tidy on the ball without really getting on it very often or really ever looking to do anything with it but that's fine because he's 17 so wouldn't expect anything more from him at this stage.

As soon as we had midfielders in he was out the squad, and hasn't done too much at all for the reserves but again that still isn't a problem as he's so young and will get better.

Kimpioka is quick but that's about it, but again he's young.

It's no suprise we the two have hardly featured. Kimpioka in particular looks miles off.

Maja may have not been expected to start every game at the beginning of the season but we brought one striker in (who was injured) so he was clearly already in the clubs plans for this season.

There's a bit of an obsession on here for playing kids too much before they are ready, at the detriment of results.

If we had went the route of younger players and our own youth players instead of our usual quick fix attitude and properly tried to build something I feel there would have been more patience from the fans. Instead we went with experienced players who aren't going to improve and will more than likely need to be changed if we do go up and tbh haven't gelled this season. We've relied on our keeper and one or two players producing moments of quality. It's not what I was hoping for.

I know what you are saying about playing young players who are not ready but if not now, when? We are a third division team, surely this is the league we want our best young players playing in. If Mumba, Kimpioka, Hume and say diamond had played far bigger roles this season I think it would have helped their development and I don't for a second believe we would have missed out on the playoffs.

Mumba seemed to be in and around the first team until he signed his new deal then dropped away. Could have been a ploy from the club to convince him to sign.

No not really as we've got enough depth in the team and not in the final games; too much pressure for the young lads.

From the handful games of seen Mumba definitely one for the future.

Best player in the park against the mags u21's in the chackatrade.

Personally I would have loved to have seen more of Mumba. Don't think he ever let himself down and in some of the cup games (I know they were against limited opposition) he stood out for me. In my opinion this lad has every chance of being a really good player.

Kimpioka no,at the most 5mins but in reality I think Sterling has much more to offer. The more I see him (Kimpioka) the worse he looks, but perhaps he's just trying to hard.

Bali Mumba is not even the best player in his age group and should be nowhere near the first team, that should be dan neil.

Benji is an enigma and again isnt the best player in his position in the the u23s thats jack diamond.

^ knows his stuff.
