It’s not just about him coming in and doing better. It’s about his development
Even though his development might cost the team points. Jack Ross and his staff see the lads in training all week, we dont.

No, if we were cruising at the top day in Luton’s position it would’ve made sense to integrate them. I expected us to be promoted this year automatically so a bit disappointed in the players that we haven’t. After Maia leaving and the lack of wins since December it would’ve been daft to put so much onus on young lads like that. Probably would have broken them having to answer to a toxic crowd
Toxic crowd? This season?

The Checkatrade bollocks would be ideal for bringing the youngsters through with a few first teamers using it to get fit from injury.....but the EFL in their wisdom......

If the owners had planned on staying in this division they surely we should have blooded more youngsters. I had hoped to see Mumba, Kimpioka, Nelson, Hume, Robson, Emberton, Diamond, Connolly, Hackett, Shields, Hunter and Bainbridge get more game time. I can't understand the signing of Sterling if we weren't going to use him? Surely we should have kept Nelson or giving Connolly or Diamond more of a run out.

Shields who is it alloa and scored 2in 18 should he have played here, Embleton is getting good experience in league football, Hume had a big injury, and benji looks nowhere near ready

Erm, both Kimpioka and Mumba have featured in the checkatrade frequently? And could have played every match if Ross wanted them too.

Mumba deffo needs to be around the first team squad but not sure if he is ready for the week in week out demands of league 1 football......Remember at 16/17 he is still growing and this league is brutal. I think another 12 months and he will deffo be pushing to be a first choice centre mid......Kampioke would be on my bench every time, when he has come on for 10 minute cameo runs his pace against tired legs is unreal. He is incredibly raw, will undoubtedly miss some good chances and make some poor decisions but his searing pace deffo offers us something completely different from anybody else in the squad.

im sorry but mumba is not good enough and from what I have seen with the u23s this year he wont be in a years time either (he is playing against 16/17 year olds week in week out in that league before you say differently) , dan neil is the kid who will break through if any do.

I thought Mumba looked ok and would be fine playing more games league 1 if mid table was expectation.

Kimpioka looked good to me in CT but a bit crap more recently
