If you listen to the last podcast with our owner, it is pretty clear why Kimpioka isn't featuring, and wont for the forseeable. He is stalling on signing a contract extension, and SD has gone on record as saying no young player will be allowed to put themselves in the shop window like Maja did.

Not the biggest fan of Kimpioka when I've seen him play,he has pace but gives the ball away often. Only seen Mumba play once in person but from what I've seen online he looks quality, especially considering how young he is.

Mumba looked half decent when he played at the start of the season. When I've seen Kimpioka he played like a dog with a balloon

Yes definitely. Especially in the later stages of the EFLT run. We had a massive squad this and imo failed to utilise it.

Same as what people were saying about Maja at the start of the season.

Mumba looked good in the first game and half this season then, then he was dropped totally and made about one substitute appearance in the league for the rest of the season. Then looked good in the EFLT games but was dropped for the semi and the final.

If Kimpioka had got the same time on the pitch as Wyke and Grigg imo he'd have sored more, been a miles bigger threat with his pace and gained much needed experience. Again he looked good in the EFLT and was dropped for the semi and the final. Poor management imo, demoralising and poor for the confidence.

Mumba was tidy but every game he played passed him by and Kimpioka doesn't look ready at all.

Maja had already done relitively well in the league above and got more game time because he was better than them both.

Mumba maybe yes, i think he will make it at some point, Kimpioka aye he's still young but to me looks way off being ready

Would like to have seen Mumba get more game time as I think the kid has got something special - to be able to play centre mid at 16/17 and look very comfortable on the ball suggests he has a real chance. The difficulty is, CM is our strongest area of the squad

Mumba looked very good for his age when he played earlier in the season, deserved more of a chance thought the campaign but only Jack knows why he hasn't featured at all the past few month.

It's weird he looked good then was dropped there was probably another 4 or 5 times he could have come on earlier in the season when we were comfortable in games but he didn't.

It was obvious he was only playing because we had a shortage of midfielders, but when you do well like that, for someone so young to just be thrown in and not look out of place is a strange one.
It's like the Rashford situation just at a lower level, the lad got in the team by absolute chance and hasn't looked back.
People will argue Mumba looked poor for the u21s but sometimes players become better when playing alongside better team mates.

As others have said Kimpioka is still a bit raw, its a shame we haven't been cruising enough in a game to bring him on relatively risk free. I think Mumba looks like a great prospect form what I have seen (not much). One of the best prospects at the academy, but the way some teams have set up against us, ie to kick lumps out of us, get a reaction and generally time waste from kick off, I'm not sure if that is something an inexperienced 16/17 year old should be brought into. Maybe if the game was out of sight but I cant recall many of them.

Unfortunately for young Benji his brain and feet aren't on the same wavelength. He certainly has potential but he could be another one who has someone telling him how he would be much better off moving elsewhere permanently when his best bet would be to sign a new deal then go on a season long loan to the National League where he'll get used to being introduced to row Z by some big lump of a cental defender.

Don't think mumba is ready. Think the fact he already played will of done wonders for his development, think he'd play a part next season if we didn't go up.

Kimpioka again isn't ready, far less so than Mumba. Think he could do with a loan move to a league two side next season. Definitely don't think either would of improved us this season.

Very exciting prospects to have though, hope Kimpioka signs a new deal but wouldn't be surprised to see another Asoro and Maja happen.

I think Mumba could have had more of a chance, especially given our injury problems in centre mid recently combined with the amount of games.

Bali Mumba is not even the best player in his age group and should be nowhere near the first team, that should be dan neil.

Benji is an enigma and again isnt the best player in his position in the the u23s thats jack diamond.
