I think you will find that most of the critics of your 'style' of atmosphere creation have taken part in atmospheres at matches that did not require banners or flares or 'bouncing' or choreographed semaphore displays............they were spontaneous outpourings of support, mainly well fuelled by alcohol, but they were 'fun' and maybe we are looking back misty-eyed and rocking on the porch with a can in hand but don't take it personally young fella..........think for yourself and don't be a lemming.
noooooooo man. It's not time to make a change, Just relax, take it easy. You're still young, that's your fault. There's so much you have to know. Find a girl, settle down, If you want, you can marry. Look at me I am old, but I'm happy

I want the sol to be rocking like it hasnt been for years. The south stand is the best way to do that and if a few lads can get together in the same section and get organized then the south stand will be rocking next year. It's a place where fans who want to stand, sing, bounce or do whatever will go to improve atmosphere and to enjoy the game the way that they want too. It's the best thing the club has done in ages and the vast majority of people going there feel the same way.
Anyone who says that the atmosphere in english grounds is good must be losing their mind. It's mainly shite. I don't understand why people who aren't moving there or who are going to be involved in it feel the need to make digs or post negative things about it. You have the rest of the stadium to sit in and do what you want. Let us get on with it.
Whatever happens to the south stand next year the louder and more intimidating the better. Imagine the opposition running out to a whole stand bouncing while singing O O O O O'Neill then bursting into "We Are Sunderland". Awesome stuff.
We had the Roker Roar, famed the world over. Was famous from the day Roker Park was built. If you feel the need to do summat then replicate that.
Bring back rattles, cloth caps and rickets.
What makes the atmosphere in british football absolutely piss on all other leagues is the spontanious nature of it. I've been to football matches all over the world and no one else has anything like it, sunderland fans used to be famous for the roker roar.
And now we have people who want to set up some "organised atmosphere", just a further attempt to sterilise the game and take away what makes our league special. And you don't even realise it.
For the majority of league games it doesn't even work for these teams whose atmosphere you want to emulate so badly.
exactly. the day we have ultra shit here is the day i wont be going back

What is wrong with a load of likeminded people getting together and making some noise?
Can younguns not do their own thing? The atmosphere at most games is sterile and anything that will make some difference is welcomed by me.
apparently not, they want to copy the europeans.
anyway bringing ultra shit here isnt workable due to all these restrictions/rules on our stadiums. the best (and maybe only way) to really bring atmospheres back is unallocated seating (or unallocated standing but that wont happen)

But it doesn't. Its flat for the most part.

Heard a couple of times in the 70s and not at all in the 80s or 90s.
