You seem to miss the point, that what makes it cringeworthy is that you had to copy it. Think up something different yourselves if you want to do something spectacular.

Why does it have to be original? I'd rather have an "organised" atmosphere than no atmosphere at all which, sadly, seems to be the norm these days.

I find it strange that the op has a "against modern football" avatar yet is desperate to embrace all the wankery that comes with it.
I've been in some f***ing brilliant atmospheres at the match and can't recall any involving flags, flares, bouncing up and down or hoying pints about.

Tbf the best thing to do witha pint at the sol is throw it. Rank stuff.

Should be somewhere near me then. Row 34 halfway between the middle of the south and the SWC.

Do you think everyone in the south are gonna sing for the full 90? From who you have spoken to?

Thats what me and my mates are intending to do mate. Dont know if it will take off for the full 90 but everyone I have spoken to intends to stand and make a right noise all game. I know of a group of 50 in section U38 and another group of about 150 in U37 who are planning to do the same. Similar things i've heard in U39 aswell.

i hope the South stand has comfortable seats, sometimes when im sat for a while i get cramp in my hamstrings
not really like

What makes the atmosphere in british football absolutely piss on all other leagues is the spontanious nature of it. I've been to football matches all over the world and no one else has anything like it, sunderland fans used to be famous for the roker roar.

And now we have people who want to set up some "organised atmosphere", just a further attempt to sterilise the game and take away what makes our league special. And you don't even realise it.

For the majority of league games it doesn't even work for these teams whose atmosphere you want to emulate so badly.

This a million times

Somewhere near the back towards swc. I hope it feels like the back of the cage at roker.

It'll feel fuck all like the Fulwell End guess you can always dream though

Then you are very, very sad.

Because he disagrees with you?

I can't understand how anyone can defend the atmosphere's created in England in recent years. I also think the posters bringing up the atmosphere at Roker Park as some sort of argument to support their reasoning behind not needing to better the atmosphere have short memories. Roker Park was not always a caulron of noise and I imagine the only reason the Roker Roar was so loud and famous was due to the attendance in the ground. That could only be replicated if we could attract a similar number of supporters.

West Ham and Man City fans have both commented on the SoL when it's been bouncing, suggesting there was a "Wall of noise" and that it was an intimidating place to go. These atmosphere's are few and far between, last season was below average imo.

If people wish to try to better it then I'm all for it. We can't get much worse. Hopefully the South Stand is a success.
