Shops/businesses/establishments etc to avoid

I won't go there anymore (shame, cos the kids love it). I took me ma and da there for a meal (!!!) a few months back and the service was slow, I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I've worked in restaurants, but it became obvious it was slow because the staff didn't give a fuck, as opposed to being run off their arses. When we finally gave our order to the disinterested waitress I watched the chefs (!!!) cook the food and then place it under the heat lamp to signal to the waitresses it was ready to go to the table. It sat there for 15 minutes (I nearly got up and fetched it myself). So when it finally came to the table it was lukewarm, at best. So I asked the manager to take it away and that I wasn't going to pay, and I refused her half-hearted offer of a replacement (I've worked in kitchens too - never send your food back unless you enjoy the taste of spit). Crap. Ruined the evening.

So, to sum up, another vote for never going to Frankie and Bennys.

I used to like going when there were fewer of them, the food was half decent (for what you get) and the service was fine. As they have opened more they have gone downhill. The food is shite and the staff must need an NVQ in Fuckwittery before they get set on.

ParkMaverick Coach Trips

He took us to Whitehaven, then left us there.

I had to cycle 150 miles home.

Patch is doing one this year I've been told.

Following on from the Keith Pattison thread I'd like to recommend that no one ever gets involved with TalkTalk.
Or The Mad Hatter of Sea Road.
Or tries to order a breakfast from the Marriott Leeds.

Barclays for me they can loose money, charge you for their mistakes, charge you twice, put you on hold for nearly an hour, don't deal with your complaint, get you to call a bank helpline from a branch to be told by the helpline that you need to go into a branch.

Whereas that is a shining example of YOUR native tongue.

What, Witherwackese?
If he can't understand Witherwackese he shouldn't be working in a call centre.

Halifax are like that too.
So they got binned.

big shout out for Santander here, utter, utter *****

Aye, a few years ago charged me £30 for going overdrawn. I was not overdrawn as per bank statement, but they had taken 5 days to process a cheque received - they never admitted the error so I left.
