Me too, since 1958, keep the one we have now.I went to Roker for 20 odd years but don't want the old badge back. Simple as that.

It’ll never catch on ….Sunderland…. Always looking backwards.
Roy Keane? Bring him back!
Old badge? Bring it back!
The mines? Bring them back!
Do any other clubs have such ridiculous levels of nostalgia in the fan base?
Or a meringue?Yes that’s my absolutely serious, non sarcastic, highly considered, focused contribution to this massively important debate that I think will effect us all
Or a ship?
It was, and yeah its crazy how many have come about. I think Brentford’s is really nice, but put it next to all the other red badges and it just looks the same.Is it @Bamber who did the YouTube video posted on this thread?
He included tonnes of shit generic round badges out there
As he said too, they're basically all the same design save the inner logo
Bruce that said it, he has nowt to do with football (although now we know he does worship KS)All this "let's change the badge" stuff is almost like culture wars in politics: a convenient distraction to turn people's attention away from what really matters and what really needs changing.
It particularly reminds me of Charlie Meth-head's "let's replace the seats" campaign - a way of of looking like you're spending money but in reality a way of avoiding spending a lot more. I'd have had pink seats all day long if the team had been any good.
Nah PinnackForget ships and coal, surely as cheese savoury is the greatest invention from our humble city, it should feature.
Barcelona were formed ten years after Forest Green so Barca must've copied their badge..It was, and yeah its crazy how many have come about. I think Brentford’s is really nice, but put it next to all the other red badges and it just looks the same.

Given how many have changed to a “retro” version of their badges/kits in recent years I would say so, yes.Sunderland…. Always looking backwards.

Pink slice has to be on there surely as wellNew badge should be a film reel over a bowl of Panackelty.
This weekend wonder how many of our fans will have his iconic badge on . The first time it was publicly unveiled was 53 years ago at Wembley FTMI'd love it come back it's iconic.
I'd love it come back it's iconic.
I hope they swap them around for next seasons kits. Ship badge in home kit and current badge on away. Any idea @Di Canios Knees ?The ship badge was a million times nicer than the one we have now. Every piece of kit would immediately look better with that badge on.
Me too.
