the rule is wrong.Irrelevant. Any handball in the move leading to a goal will result in the goal being disallowed.
the rule is wrong.
football is imperfect and for example whacking a ball at a defender who cant get out of the way - and it accidentally hits his hands - should never be handball.
the rule will be changed next season.
Yeah - that was one but I think there was another one later in the game.Is that the Alexander-Arnold handball?
Well that’s just absurd. When does the build up start?

I don't think it should have been given but under the current interpretation of the law it should have been.
I thought VAR was supposed to give us more consistency but it seems to be favouring one team in particular.

I still think for offsides it can workIndeed. No one has got a clue really. Van Dijk handballed it (technically) in the build up to a goal recently but it was deemed to be outside of the build up so the goal stood. It's completely arbitraty it seems.
They haven't half fucked up the PL with the introduction of VAR. Total shambles in every way. We've got people getting protractors out measuring millimetres on offsides to see whether someone's finger nail is off, this handball mess, fans still having no idea what's going on inside the ground.
Yes, but in this case it wouldn’t be handball (unless his arms were in an unnatural position) as the scenario you describe hasn’t lead to a goalthe rule is wrong.

- do it based on the feet and if part of your foot is onside they you are
and then for serious foul play
that’s it
He did use his arm to control the ball, so both the rule and the decision look correct.
I agree. There was one in that game that took a deflection off another player, so that’s why one wasn’t given. The law changes are shite like.
That is stunning. Declan Rice doesn't know the handball rule. Am I understanding that right. A professional footballer doesn't know the handball rule.
Agreed.VAR is the worst thing to happen to football
Sooner it is scrapped the better
