Have the children gone to bed and you're bored?

No, he would be in there with the............................... No I better not.[DOUBLEPOST=1396373884][/DOUBLEPOST]

Are your lot going to lob bricks at our supporters busses again ?

Luckily I remember some of the attendances at Roker in the 90s.

94/95 season anyone? Same division, both in our old stadiums. Middlesbrough average attendance - 18,461. Sunderland - 15,344.

Few more seasons like that which people forget about. Not bad for a small town in Yorkshire. Sunderland aren't kidding anyone over their size, at least we know where we are at.

Is it john Darwin night on here gone for years now back with a vengeance
Kidding who and how exactly ?
Seems Some boro fans (not all) have a chip on their shoulder ... And a parmo

In 94 / 95, Middlesbrough were heading for promotion to the Premier League, managed by an ex England international who had won the title with Man Utd the previous season. Sunderland had Mick Buxton and a relegation battle. If anything, the gap should've been wider.

I see the 93 / 94 averages, just before Bryan Robson took over, aren't mentioned. Or are 10,000 averages not to be discussed?

You forgot to quote him mate. I said almost the same as you a few posts back. The seasons were not comparable at all.

I don't think Boro care that it's classed as a derby though, I certainly couldn't give a fuck, it's just nice to beat you a bit more than most.....what must grate for Sunderland fans is despite the ridicule you try and aim our way, deep down you're actually resentful of what we've done for such a small town in Yorkshire and that some of the worlds best players have been on our books.........I can't think of the last one you had, in fact I can't think of any.

You're a nothing club, like us. We just don't have the delusions of grandeur like you do. At least the other doyles have a little bit in their locker to back it up with

Who needs them ***** when we've got Albert!!! :)

I'm not baiting here, with the players bit, it is actually quite f***ing baffling that you've never had a player another team would snap up...... Even us with Viduka, JFH, Merson, Yakubu and even Gazza! That goes without mentioning the like of Rav, Boksic, Reiziger, Juninho & Emerson[DOUBLEPOST=1396380377][/DOUBLEPOST]Narraback, the bricking of your coach was deserved, believe me it was, and it was funny to watch too

If you don't know the story, don't comment.......you may not like the answer

As for attendances, come lads, you're from a catchment area 3 x the size so you SHOULD have bigger gates...... Ours recently are shite, no two ways about it, but as I've said before our tickets cost more than yours - work that out

I'm not the fanny throwing bricks at a load of disabled supporters mate eh

They really are a strange bunch are boro fans, not heard a peep out of them for the last 8 years or so, now they want to talk footy cos we're not doing well....think most of them care about us more than their own club

can't get any more excited about playing Boro as i would about playing, say, Blackpool.......never saw it, or treat it, as a derby game[/QUOTNobody's
I don't actually, never said I threw them either, far too clever for that - my point was 'people in glass houses...... Shouldn't attack disabled people' ;)

I am not denying I see Sunderland as a rival. Read the posts mate eh.

The truth is, mate, you have one of two about right.

SAFC aren't a big club. We have a big following and that's about it. It's a club whose best days are long gone and are destined to be up and down. Too big for the second division but can't attract the players to compete in the top league. We're the sort of club who will always attract the better the championship players or a manager with a touch of magic at that level but once up we're a small fish who at some point will come back down again.

On your second point about Sunderland not caring about Middlesbrough, you really couldn't be more wrong. Genuinely, no one gives a fuck about you. Why you think it's different I've no idea, but you're just not a rival at all. I'm from a place half way between Sunderland and Middlesbrough, but it's an SAFC heartland and no one talks about you, ever. Don't really know anyone who follows Middlesbrough and don't know anyone who even mentions you. Just the way it is, mate.

By the way, I was stood in the Holgate at the front when Slaven scored after about 16 seconds. You can see me stood with me hands in me pockets not knowing whether to laugh or cry while everyone was dancing around me. Not because it was Middlesbrough by the way.

The truth is, mate, SAFC means a lot more to a lot more people than Middlesbrough could even begin to contemplate.
