What can the companies do to recruit non-abusive managers such as those in the video?

It could take decades to improve the conditions, we can’t even stamp it out in our own police service.

You spend money which is why they don’t really want to fix these issues.
I’ve seen loads of ‘solutions’ that were never designed or meant to work. Reporting mechanisms, networks of advisors, training etc mostly bollox.

Thanks, I probably didn’t phrase my post too well, it sounded quite insensitive when I re-read it.

I’m not excusing the (British) multinationals but a company the size of Unilever would have to adhere to local regulations I assume. Which would mean that many women across all industries in those countries could be at similar risk.

Ideally those ‘Western’ companies should be setting a better example but it’s obvious that profits come first.
