actually, i actually placed a malware on the adult videos (porno) site and do you know what, you visited this website to experience fun (you know what i mean). While you were viewing videos, your internet browser started out functioning as a Remote control Desktop with a key logger which provided me accessibility to your display and cam. Right after that, my software program obtained every one of your contacts from your Messenger, FB, and emailaccount. after that i made a double-screen video. First part displays the video you were watching (you've got a fine taste omg), and second part displays the view of your web cam, yeah its you.

Clearly a scam, but you can imagine that people would easily panic and pay the money, I've blocked out my password, but the password was actually bang on for a lot of my accounts, so its certainly convincing....its scary that they can get this password information mind, and I've changed all that I can recall.

I got a similar one not too long ago, I replied and said they would probably get more money if they sent the letter to my contacts as they would surely pay money NOT to see a video of me doing the cream shaker. No-one, but no-one wants to see that.

Had them a canny few times myself, pure changers and unfortunately must get a few bites with it.

OP - have you ever checked on a site like haveibeenpwned.com - you put your email address in and it tells you if it appears (which will be along with your password) in any of the mass userid/password dumps when a company (like TalkTalk) has been hacked. That might well be how they have both password and email, especially if it's a password you use on a lot of shopping sites rather than bank etc.
