We've also seen trans people sent to male prisons threatened and sexually assaulted. Our prison system simply wasn't designed for this.

From what I've of teenage lasses I think the young trans person would be more at risk in that situation, lasses are worse than lads.

In my experience of camping the reality is you'd be with your mates, you wouldn't be stuck with someone you really didn't want to be with, I don't see why it would be any different here.

There have been plenty of examples of adults putting themselves in positions of authority to abuse kids. I don't see why a scout/guide group with a trans person in a position of authority would need different safeguarding practices that they would if you or I were running it.
