The coments on the bottom, I reckon TLR has been on....

A house big enough for a family of 12 is going to cost a lot of money - especially when rented from the free market of the private sector, which Tower Hamlets council will have to, as Thatcher sold off so much of the council housing stock. And Daily Mail readers, I ask you this: where would you prefer them to live, if not in a house? A prison? A hutch? Think before you whinge.

theres far more to tower hamlets than whitchapel you know..

all round victoria park, Bow and encompasses all of canary wharf and its million pound apartments...

So, live with the poor scum, or live with the overprivileged scum? Fuck both of them options.

On second thoughts I could move next door to Rex and hear his B&O ipod dock blasting Genesis through the paper-thin walls.

as much as I generally pity those who comment on the mail website there is one good point made, surely their are easier countries to seek asylum in than Britain if you're coming from Ethiopia?

Assuming they flew here then quite possibly not. Looking at a map of Africa, travel over land out of Ethiopia leads you to some interesting places regardless of which direction you go.

Daily Mail really does like to spin

"The jobless family - who will also be receiving other handouts such as unemployment and child benefits"

The family is jobless as they are Asylum seekers and government rules do not allow them to work until they are either removed from the country or are given refugee status. As they are unable to work they either have to claim benefits or illegally beg on the streets.
