Serious suggestions to replace Moyes please

So now 8 pages in and not a single suggestion that comes anywhere close to the pedigree Moyes has (or had before us!!)

Of the suggested names I like

Zenden
SuperKev + Reid

both purely out of romance

And none of the others fill me with anything but dread.

Diabolical start though it has been, I'd stick with Moyes still.

So Moyes has failed at Man U, In spain and now Sunderland yet you would keep with him, what pedigree does Moyes have ?

Depends on when if Moyes walks or is pushed. If our performances continue like they are for much longer then we might as well put Stockdale in as caretaker and bide our time in the close season finding someone that knows the Championship. Sad but true.

There's hundreds of managers out there to choose from, I'm sure someone who is paid a massive wedge at the club will be able to come up with a suitable alternative. I wouldn't have suggested any of the previous managers what Watford have hired but they've done alright.

My answer to this logic is Sgt Wilko won the league before coming to us.
I'm judging him on what he has done recently, not 10 years ago.

I like the look of Gary Rowett, but frankly a shaved chimp from the zoo couldn't have done any worse so far.

Well that was the point of the thread, and the combined brains of the SMB haven't unearthed a huge amount. I'd say there's probably not an obvious candidate out there.

Rowett. Quietly doing a good job at Birmingham, and also a big part of the reason Burton Albion are where they are now.

He's young, enthusiastic, and has some decent experience behind him now.I think he'd do well here.
