Pointless replacing him now. We are down, need to plan for Championship. Replace him in March so the new manager was not saddled with unrealistic expectations at outset and can get a look at squad for next season.

Good coach but what was he like for spotting a decent player? Every club he's been at have some sort of director of football in place, we've just scrapped the crap we had because it couldn't find anything halfway playableVillas-Boas
It's OK saying let's get bid Sam back , but he took about 3 mths to get us going last time, and we need to get winning now !I'd pay for Big Sams taxi, and throw in a bunch of flowers for Mrs Sam.
Pulis just signed a 1 year contract extention...Pulis the only realistic option of staying in the league but Ellis would be hit with double bubble for paying off Moyes and WBA

He couldn't do much with the current bunch, at least not till we get some injured players back. Still not convinced by him and I'm not 1 for going back to a previous managerHe already knows the majority of the players. He knows the club.
Yes for me....Chris Hughton - knows the championship well and is a gentleman.
(Not a dig - assuming you meant if you went down?)
Has Redknapp officially retired?
He would come in and instantly lift the players. He'd be able to motivate them until the end of the season and hopefully steer us clear of relegation. We could then bring in a younger coach and put him in a consultancy capacity like a sounding board for the new gaffer. Either way the man in the dugout now won't be the man in the dugout at the start of next season

He will not be our managerBe worth sounding Allardyce out. He doesn't have many options at the minute.
O'Shea as his number twoKeane in the championship.
A large over ripe tomato. Squashed a bit with a little mould growing on the broken skin.Apart from the obvious but controversial Allardyce...
I'm seeing names like Keane and Reid suggested on here, are people serious?
