Serious question on onien in injury time

No Ballard was at fault, but O9 was in a poor position too. Just rank poor defending.
So you want both CB’s to mark one striker? What if they have a player that runs in from midfield into the space that O’Nien has left because he’s busy marking the man Ballard is marking?

What if that doesn’t happen either but he’s so touch tight to the attacker that he runs in front of him if the cross is played shorter? You’d then be saying that O’Nien shouldn’t be marking Ballards man.

The goal came from a brilliant cross that was put in between both of them. If you’re going down that route then blame Huggins and Mayenda for not stopping the ball in.

could of give penna away should of used what little there is of brain and take his sponsibilities as captain more serious give his head shake imo mate. red cards and bans a real risk with this lads loose canonisms ffs. hopefully the model'll get a manager in that'll learn him there

Yes, he's got a gaffe in him, but he always plays with his heart on his sleeve and delivers many positives. Plus, given our defensive situation, our goals against is up there.

Every single time we concede
It‘s getting utterly boring and pathetic the constant whinging about O’Nien on here like. I don’t think he did much wrong yesterday.
All those complaining about Mowbray playing him at centre half. Yet Dodds had an option to play Triantis or Seelt there yesterday instead and didn’t . He opted to play O’Nien. So are those same whingers going to have a go at Dodds ? Or could it be that O’Nien alongside Ballard is in fact our strongest pairing ??

I like O9, he's a very good player for our club, He had a good game overall yesterday, I'm not one of his haters. He wasn't directly to blame for the goal, I've said it three times now, but he was standing in no mans land, marking no one. Even the professional defender on the commentary said he was in no mans land and he was. That is a fact.

This, O'nien was a stick to beat Mowbray with, looks like he will continue to be the boo boy for some on here.

Ballard was to blame, O'nien did nothing wrong, simples.

I just felt the ref was waiting to even things up for the offside goal, which he would have found out at half time was a balls up. Otherwise, that was a blatant pen from like tbf.
