Sensible views on the derby game this weekend please

Since we're doing sensible can the Mags on here tell me if they're feeling more or less confident for the derby since we've replaced O'Neill with DiCanio?

No odds to me. I thought o Neil was right up for derbies. Certainly last season at St James. If we play well and to full capability we should win. That's all I'm bothered about.

Have a feeling that it'll be a high scoring game and we'll lose by 1 goal.

Impossible to call though. Two shit teams, each with a couple of out-of-form quality players.

If Johnson and Sess don't turn up we don't have a prayer, if they do then we could nick it.

I'd take a draw like, but gotta stick with me gut of 3-1 to the lads, cue laughter, mocking etc etc.

I just think another week of training with PDC and after a decent and encouraging performance against Chelsea we might do well. I live in hope

My feeling exactly, surely Jonno fancies his chances with Danny Simpson

It's the perfect game for him to kick start his Sunderland career.

I don't expect anyone to agree, but I'd like to see Graham get a chance too for the same reason.

Out of interest who do you see as our (nufc) out of form quality players?

Debuchy is due back?

I predict a very direct approach by us (ala Chelsea game) will be too much for a tired nufc, Taylor to finally get caught with a deliberate handball leading to a penalty and a 3-1 win for the lads.

That could be about right. Interesting to see who you feel are our out of form quality players are ?

Cisse and Cabaye, though admittedly I don't watch your games as you're all f***ing cunts.

Makes no sense as we hardly get a shot on goal never mind score enough to contest a high scoring game.

Just a feeling I have. Logic would suggest a 1-1 or narrow mags win.

Have a feeling that we'll win this one, no idea why mind. Think it will be 1-3, finally score a few goals considering we seemed to be getting many more players involved in attacks on Sunday.

Sure Cisse has 6 in 10 now, and Cabaye is far from out of form. The cunts comment i wont argue with on here though :)

Like last week against Benfica then :)

We are unbeaten at home since the new signings arrived in January inlcuding being the better team in a 3-2 win over Chelsea.

We still aren't playing that well though and IMO are always there for the taking, just not sure you lot are good enough to take us.

My prediction 1-1.

They fact you can not play that well and still get results and be competitive against everyone is fearsome. I would hate to see how brilliant you would be if you really were on form.

Unfortunately I think it'll be a pounding. 3-0 Mags, OR a last grasp Cisse goal 1-0, which would hurt just as much.

The same, you cant teach an old dog as they say

Has Cabaye became Zidane over night?

No and i for one do not get the hype around him and ive come to the conclusion he's a dirty little fucker anarl

Oh and fuck off mackems :)

We all do. To finally have something good going for us would be all my dreams come true and would send a warning to the rest of the PL that we are on our way back from the dead like the phoenix. And if we even get a win as a result of that it would just be the most perfect thing to happen. Nothing can top that. Whether it will happen remains to be seen.
