I still can’t really see it. It would raise a relative pittance. Don’t get me wrong, if someone offered a couple of million then that may change things but I can’t see anyone offering even seven figures for a 31 year old keeper with one year left on his contract who has only ever proven to be adequate at anything above League 1/SPL level.

Ross clearly thinks he’s still going to be around too.
That means fuck all really

It's clear as day we need to strengthen our midfield, so it makes sense to get rid of a couple of midfield players. I really can't see why people are flapping about..

Aye, cos you know more than Ross

This. We need to get rid of the bloated numbers. He doesn't say for financial reasons, he says because he already has a big squad.

Seems as though wages aren't the determining criteria. We must have offloaded between £2-3m in wages with Catts and Matthews.

They keep mentioning cash flow though. Oviedo's wages will be eating into that, nomatter how much they protest how the club is in a strong financial position you cannot be paying players 40k a week at this level, it's more than ten times the average wage, allegedly 20 times I was reading earlier something about a 2k average at most clubs. The worrying part is that McGeady is likely to be on 25k or something similar.

Cabal's still on the books and causing shoite....

No biggest budget Billy big Bollocks this year eh?

Must be the "fans fault"....

Where have I said that? I'm assuming you're not that silly to think a player can leave despite the manager wanting to keep him doesn't happen
No, but you're so certain of your assumption that we're actively trying to sell him, which has no basis other than the shite posted on here recently, that you're then questioning Ross thinking he'll still be here

Well it looks like those doubters are quite right to be doubting the owners finances this season after all.

Pfft so called supporters!

It's a little worrying to hear that seeing as Cattermole leaving is saving millions and we've signed two free transfers.

Yes. Just two players together whose wages would cover at least the wage bills of about half the clubs in League one. Reality hits home when you look at it that way.

Ross literally says that the squad is big enough now, and it's about improving parts of it, which means people leaving before we bring more in. Nothing he says suggests it's anything to do with finances man

I'm certain of nothing. It's an opinion I have. Oh and the talk of McLaughlin being sold has been talked about away from here. You're pretty niave to think a player wouldn't be sold against the managers wishes.
