Which SEGA in particular?
If you do not have a console, but fancy playing for an hour here and there then in my opinion SEGA produced the best ever pick up and play gaming console in the Mega Drive. Sonic the Hedgehog being already mentioned is timeless and jumps right in for game time. Add to that games like Streets of Rage, Shinobi and Mortal Kombat, you have a number of games that even if you haven't played them for 20 years you can figure out the buttons in thirty secinds and be on your way without needing to follow a story.
If you want something more advanced and modern, SEGA's time has long since gone.
