Secret Footballer says players are running safc!

Its the use of the phrase "locker room" that sits most uneasy. Players always control the dressing room until the gaffer walks in. The shithawks might moan and give it billy big bollocks but when a strong gaffer walks in they soon shrink down to size. The problem is our gaffers haven't always been there or weren't strong enough or were mental. Yet to decide what Gus is....erratic seems to be the best fit so far.

The lanky ginger twat kens fuck all about it. Who would he be knocking about with from our 2012/13 team, or the current crop? The shitbag plays in League Two - not one of our big-time charlies would be seen dead with proles like him.

I thought this was common knowledge? My ex (no) works at the club and she used to tell me all the time about what the players were up to behind the scenes. The last few managers have all been given the heave-ho because the players controlled the locker room. The minute a manager clamps down on it the players band together, refuse to train and go crying off to the board. I cannit remember who the ex said was the ringleader, sure she said it was bardsley though.

Yet some would still like to see that traitorous rat given a new contract. The last best hope for SAFC died when Paolo was sacked and the pampered ones realised they'd won again. As Leeds United discovered many years ago, when it's players versus manager there should only be one winner, and at least those footballers had delivered on the pitch.

Agreed.

I've been reading Alex Fergies autobiography and he says the very same thing.

FFS Di Canio didn't get sacked because the players rebelled, he got sacked because the whole club rebelled.

Not sure how true that bit is mind mate. The players and some back room staff had issues with him (bit of an understatement I know) , but in general the club seemed quite happy.

Pig headed and stubborn seems to fit the bill. He does things his way and doesn't seem to listen. I'm certain that some of the criticism from us (the fans) has got through to him but how many times does he bewilder us by his team selection and formation? Monday night was a prime example when he played 5 across the back when we desperately needed 3 points.

Getting beat every week and not having a f***ing clue added to the problem like.[DOUBLEPOST=1396439895][/DOUBLEPOST]If we'd been winning no-one would have given a fuck about PDC's methods. You can't go on like he did AND be out of your depth management wise, it's just not sustainable.

The secret footballer is full of shit. you just need to have read his book to see that. made up toss most of it and the 'everyone else was naughty but I never was etc' Bollocks TBH

drink culture....this secret footy player sounds like a bitter man....Shorts gonna sort it all out.....he'll have their kegs down.

I've seen Bardo fill up with booze. Well, not actually drink it. Just in a shopping trolley.

Now Gus is having a similar run is it time for him to go?
No because he doesn't use the same methods to piss people off like Paolo did. It's the two together that's the problem. I did agree with some of his points about the players, but he was naive in the way he went about implementing his ideas. He was also very poor and naive tactically and I also didn't see much evidence of us being any fitter under him either.

Started under Keane.

To be more accurate, Nemo, it started with Quinny. It won't be a popular opinion on here but I really do believe that the toxic dressing room we have at SAFC is down to SNQ in the main. His obsession with bringing in a certain type of character and his slavish devotion to trying to recreate the atmosphere of the Reidy/Romanos days has been the single thread that runs through the dressing room over the past 7 seasons.

What about after Quinny left and he had no say?

As you say mate, the above probably won't go down well, but there's a lot of truth in what you post.
