straws at clutching and pro pdc agenda at work here..................
Have a read at what you just posted as its fantasy at its finest.......

what is it with people on here and there "agendas"? What exactly is my agenda from a few posts on a poxy message board?

A simple post about what PDC might have been trying to do is all it is. nothing more, nothing less.

What a load of shite. Made up hearsay, jumping on the bandwagon created by Di Canio with no substance. Fuck the ginger wanker.

Problem is hes an unstable lunatic......before the end of last season there were clear signs of trouble when he in the press slagging players such as O'Shea off when performance related stuff should always be kept behind closed doors........

Sadly, the players seem to drive our managers to do criticise them publicly. Gus has started now, just not as direct as PDC, but still very clear who he's talking about when they're dropped next game, only to return and play shite when their replacement proves to be no better

The whole club needs an enema

Training staff, or the dinner ladies? There was enough evidence to dispel the idea that they weren't allowed to speak to the training staff and that they even managed to have a laugh with them. I know this to be true. The dinner ladies? So how in God's name did they order lunch, use f***ing semaphore? :D

I may be wrong but until I hear otherwise from somewhere reliable this was almost certainly complete and utter bollocks thrown to the press by the agents of disgruntled players. For me this was generated on the back of Di Canio's throwaway comments about him not wanting people to interrupt the player's preparations on match days. Probably the ridiculous assertion that Paolo himself referred to during his interview.

I was told by one bloke high up in the club that PDC was very popular with club staff (not players obviously ). He was always polite and made a lot of time to talk to staff and was actively involved in the foundation.

His attitude towards the players however was very questionable

It was. He couldn't handle mistakes in professionalism or attitude. Went over the top. However, guess the players pushed him at times. Breaking rules, training lateness and dietary exclusions etc.

Unfortunately for PDC, I think he just could not contain himself when he had to put up with such unprofessionalism from very well paid footballers. His big lesson is that in management you sometimes have to put up with shite and take your time to get rid of it.

Thought he was rather interesting when it first came out but he's a boring bellend now. People have lost interest in him so he's turned to lazy journalism. His book was a huge let down too.

Indeed. Apparently he took to the drink to ease his bitterness over being forced out of the game early. Some former colleagues reckon he had no patience at all with people on the treatment table, often to the point of physically assaulting them. :D[DOUBLEPOST=1396483543][/DOUBLEPOST]

So what "successful" teams were these like?
Wey the promotion/ 2 7ths teams mate

Whether the article carries any substance or not remains to be seen, but I was told from a current pro footballer who is currently playing with a former SAFC player from the O'Neill era, that said ex SAFC player had told him he had never seen a drinking culture like at SAFC while he was here, with the English lads such Cattermole, Bramble, Bardsley and Johnson being the worst offenders.

I've no reason at all to doubt the source either, he's a mate.

Reidys successful teams were the biggest pissheads going, including himself.

Only seems to be an issue when things aren't going well

That article is just sensationalised bollocks tbh. Don't know where to start with it. The lanky ginger bellend needs to give it up
Reidys last 'successful' team was 12 years ago. The game has moved on massively since then. If you're happy to accept players drinking as long as they perform on the pitch then thats fine. But you'll soon realise that alcohol has no place in a successful team. Top class athletes have absolutely no interest in the stuff whatsoever. There are of course loads of other reasons that we are woeful like  not just that we have one or two who like a drink.
