The Durham wicketkeeper is the Aussie overseas pro for Newcastle in the NEPL having a cracking season with the bat and looks a class act at that level. Not sure if he has access to a British/EU passport, or if he is just .filling in.

He's an absolute class above Poynter, and would probably displace Richardson given a few months in the squad.

Not sure on qualification myself though.

given half their total was scored by lees and ballance who are both first teamers and the only first teamer we played was onions, who didnt do much by the numbers and on top of that the game looks pretty even your comment seems a bit odd.

Aye, Yorkshire are very strong. Brooks opened the bowling and even the likes of Rhodes, Hodd and Carver have played a role in their first team over the years - so good draw in fairness.

Harte 160* and 96 wasn't bad at all either. Might be staking a late claim for a Championship appearance before the season ends - if not, certainly should be offered a deal for 2018.

Will be tough going gettin in with Jennings back, Latham around, steel in great form, Clark in nick etc
