Batting is a worry but it wasn't lost as it happens. We led by 321 with 2 wickets left. You shouldn't lose from there.
Moeen loses confidence if he doesn't strike early. Woakes was a big disappointment, maybe it's fitness. Not sure why Roland-jones was left out.
 

Moeen goes missing when the pressure is on him.

Swann would have ran through the West Indies on that pitch.

The press were over the top like, this is nowhere near the worst test side

They put in some really impressive performances against Pakistan recently, it seems none of them watched that

I am not disagreeing but you always harp on about how Cook and Strauss's declarations are too defensive

You can't now completely change your stance?

I've always been a fan of batting the team out of the game, and this has just enforced it. Your post here does not reflect how you have been talking like.
