Season tickets

Should extend the areas for the £25 under 16's tickets and lower the prices for under 22's. Might encourage more youngsters to attend. That's the demographic we are losing and who are most important for the future..
Agreed, we’re going to lose a generation of fans again

Aye, won't happen. They will be back in the SS. Two blocks at the back

I suspect there will be a lot of pissed off people.

Surely it’s easier to just keep the away fans in the North Stand upper, but shift our lot from the concourse? I can’t believe they will save much by doing what they are doing tbh

May as will bin the upper tier completely mate. Just leave Marty baby up there on his Jack

In league one it should be 300 plus a bairns ticket for a tenner or Summit
It's not far off that now. Think I pay 360 plus 25 for the bairn

Should we drop to league 1 next year, then I fully expect the SOL to continue to drop to bits as no funds will be spent. It already looks awful with bars shut, but I can see it getting worse.
Yeah, it's looking it's age which is sad to see. 21 years old nearly and in desperate need of a facelift

What’s the sketch with talk of increasing prices?

Worst team in our long history, plummeting through the divisions, 2 home wins in 14 months, attendances as low as they’ve been since we switched grounds, owner that wants to fuck off, worst morale amongst the fans than in a long long time.

Seriously man, surely even the inept bastards that have run the club into the ground can’t think a price increase is appropriate. It’s insane.

I'm really hoping it's a false rumour but it's decent posters saying it's happening. Honestly don't know what I'd do if there was a big rise. I've always considered myself someone who would always renew as long as I could afford it but if my card goes from £350 to £450 as has been mooted I'd have a big decision to make. I'm fortunate that I could afford it but it would be absolutely taking the piss and I'm not convinced I'd want to go along with it.

Renewals will take another big hit next season anyway, even if we stay up, since this season has been so poor. Some renewed hoping we'd actually win a few, they'll be off, others have just got sick of it as the season has gone on. If there's a substantial price rise, however, there will be very few season ticket holders left because it would be blatantly taking the piss. If it happens it is definitely something I would protest about and try to get discussed in the media. I'm angry just at the suggestion, only hope the next few weeks proves the rumours to be baseless

I honestly think they believe season cards sales at going to collapse, so they are going to cash in on loyalty.

Be interesting to find out how many games SCH's have actually attended this season
I have been to 6 games.
Soon got to the equation with every home game- "Do I spend 35 quid in fuel or lose 15 quids worth of shit? "

What would you be willing to pay?

I paid £475 last year, no way would I pay that next year. £250 max.
£250 would get you a season ticket for Pools in the conference. No chance it will be anywhere near that figure.

One of the (many) things SAFC have failed at over the last 20 years is taking enough money through the gate. We're miles behind similar sized/rival clubs in terms of our gate revenue despite our crowds being right up there for the most part and it is something that needs addressed.

I think a price freeze or even a small increase would be fair enough and I'd charge under 16s £150 (£6.50 per match) across the stadium. Gate money will be more crucial than ever next season and the fact is that we need to maximise it.

Crikey - now people complaining that our ticket prices have been too low for years ...

The facts and numbers speak for themselves. We haven't pulled our weight against teams we've been competing against when it comes to money taken through the turnstiles. In the last few years because of the huge tv money thrown at clubs it wasn't so much of an issue but it certainly will be in the years ahead.
