Season tickets

Mate it could all be bollocks, but one of fellas sitting near me was pretty certain.

I’ll defend the club on many things but this would be suicide

Thing is, with season ticket money being vital next season I'm not one of those who are particularly expecting a large drop in price. That being said, I'm expecting to pay about the same next season as I am this one. If the prices take a considerable hike then they'll lose a fuck load of fans (who they will then need to try and coax back with cheap deals) and they'll anger an already pissed off fan base.

If the prices went up by anything like £100 then fuck whether it looks "mag like", I'll be chipping in for a banner reminding them how many home wins we've seen since 2017 started and remind them that a price rise is taking the f***ing piss.

Totally agree mate.

Premier concourse to close, season ticket holders up there to be housed in the Black Cats bar seats ? Hence the price increase for that stand ? I'm just speculating based on what I've rumours I've read on here.

Just checked the dates for previous season card announcements and we will know for a fact within 3 weeks - although if they are closing the upper tier, we could hear this week!

Seems strange they would put them in the BCB mind.

Actually i disagree, its more likely they will try and reduce the price, or offer a reduced price, for those who want to renew early, so guaranteeing them, the supporters money, if we stay up or not.
That'll do me. The cheaper my badge of honour is the better. I'm only renewing so I can tell people I was there when we were shite.

Saw it mentioned on another post, so I'm guessing If there is talk of an increase in north Stand prices then that would put 2 and 2 together. Leeds, Villa, even the mags have closed the upper tier of their stadiums on occasion, don't think we ever have ? Even for the paltry league cup games against Chester, Huddersfield and Cheltenham.

Rumour has it However is going up, as seen within one of the threads on here.

You don't think they will? Plenty saying they'll renew regardless of league we're in, less SC holders means less income, so they'll need to recoup some of that lost revenue which will see prices increase IMO.

Our SC prices were some of the lowest in the PL, Charlton charged £500 I believe?

Tbh mate, I get closing the upper tier, but I can’t see BCB card holders being happy if people get moved there and then pay less.

What is going to be interesting is where the away fans are going! You are going to have a lot of pissed off people

Covering for potential loss of numbers and revenue? That's a pretty dangerous plan with morale at an all time low.

It’s beyond risky mate - in fact it’s f***ing suicide! If the rumours are true, then Bain must think the £15 I presently pay per match in the north stand is too cheap. Perhaps he sees £20-25 as a fairer price? If he does, then he can expect thousands of cancellations

Couldn’t care what it costs if it keeps me out of Tesco on a Saturday afternoon arguing over Kleenex or Andrex with the Mrs

I would not be surprised if prices increased.

The current rallying call of " Getting Behind The Club" seems to indicate an impending adverising campaign gearing up to ask us to " Dig Deeper"..
