Season tickets

Yeah, heard the same. The next few weeks are going to be mental really! Not only are season card prices released, but the away fans have to be housed in the lower bowl again, meaning season card holders will be moved.
So that's not a joke? Rumours are prices going up?

Where have you heard that from? To be fair my season ticket is £350 at the minute which I think is fair but if they put prices up they'll have a hell of a lot of cancellations, even more than they'll get already! I'd probably still renew tbh but it would depend on how much the price went up by

£500 was the word on the block yesterday, not sure if it was people round me having a laugh but a couple of blokes seemed sure that was going to be the price in the North Stand.

Do they? Isn't that just a PL thing, and can be overridden if the police insist in any event.

It’s all rumour, but I was told north stand would be c450 (basically 20 quid a match)

Again mate, just a rumour, but I was told yesterday they are closing all the upper tier to save money.

I assume we stand to lose any money paid if we go into Administration?

Not necessarily. An administrator's job is to try to ensure that a business continues as a going concern if at all possible. Keeping the fans coming is part of that. It's more than likely that season tickets would continue to be honoured, and that any new owners would see the PR value in continuing to do so. If, of course, it resulted in liquidation, the money would be lost unless you'd paid by credit card.

Increasing prices as we go into the 3rd division bloody hell this lot want to take a walk off the end of Roker Pier.

That just can't be true. Not doubting you mind but if it was £450 in the north stand that would be a £100 increase, that's what, about 30%? Now I know our club seems to be on a quest to find new and exciting ways to fuck everything up but even they can't reach that level of incompetence can they?

If they did put prices up by £100 almost no one would renew imo. Thankfully I could afford it but tbh with that much of a rise I might well refuse on account that it's taking the f***ing piss. They're already, in the Championship, having to do numerous cheap deals to try and get people in, they can't seriously expect people to pay a big increase upfront next season when we might well be in league one. That, for me, would be worth protesting about

Mate it could all be bollocks, but one of fellas sitting near me was pretty certain.

I’ll defend the club on many things but this would be suicide
