I dont think Boro have as many supporters as we do, its all about viewing figures

I agree, they don't. But will they really show us twice as many times? I'd doubt it, especially considering Villa are seen as being a bigger club anyway and even more so if the mags join us.

I'd be amazed if we only have 8 home 3pm kick offs in the Championship.

undecided (had mine 20 years now). bored with it

I wish I could have linked to this post 10 years ago and gave you a glimpse of what you thought was impossible at that stage of your life.

money isn't the issue, just find it incredibly shit. mk dons at home in January midweek potentially next season..... probably be just as easy to pick out a few games. see how it goes but I won't be renewing immediately in full like I did last year

I think we were on loads last time we were in the championship, but with a humongous club like Villa, you never know:lol::lol::lol:

to be honest... if your only renewing because you only want PL football are you really a SAFC fan??
reasonable point but....i'd imagine most people are thinking if we go down there's gonna be plenty of seats up for grabs on game day, freebies, promos, etc..

I know it's not money, it probably wasn't money for the people you were mocking 10 years ago for not going to every match too. You'd have been going to MK Dons away back then and pointing the finger at those who couldn't/didn't want to.

Going to every match becomes less of a priority to most as they get older, you wouldn't accept that 10 years ago iirc when you wouldn't miss a match home or away. Now here we are 10 years later and you're considering not renewing and potentially missing some home games (presumably).

I always suspected it would happen, it's rare it doesn't. Presumably you stopped going to every away match already?

Three young kids, wife needs help with them on a weekend. Travelling in is a faff, team is generally shit.

Renewing.

Are you me?

I was always critical of those having a go at folk who attended games. I've got the utmost respect for those who pay good money to watch us, especially away

Just finding the whole experience shit and the club is ran by absolute clowns. Go to the odd away game but I have probably been to more Hartlepool games this season

I could be getting mixed up mate. From what I remember you went to every game home and away (as you were at the going home and away every week phase that a lot of us go through) and you thought you were git mint because of it (like a lot of us probably did when doing the same at the same age to be fair).

I recall you suggesting that anyone who didn't attend every game didn't really deserve an opinion, or maybe I'm getting confused, it was a long time ago.

We all know lads who do what we did (going to every match home and away), and did it long before us, and are still doing it now, hats off to them, that's some commitment like. They're few and far between like, most go through a phase of going away every week, then going less and less until it become a novelty to actually go. How they manage to do it around their jobs/family I'll never know, but they do it, year after year after year.
