Season Ticket Holders shouldnt get first dabs on Wembley Tickets

Yeah, we can, so like I said its not a major gripe as we'll still def get a ticket, just not sure if we would still get 3 sat together by that stage. Probably will like so no harm done.

Of course you'll still get to sit together at that stage. They'll be allocating the tickets in phase 1 based on how many people are sitting together. They won't be leaving a load of two/three seat gaps, they'll be filling blocks and moving on.

you can please everybody but there are good arguments on either side but I think Season card holders being first priority with inclusion of loyalty points is only way to fairly do it.

In one context why shouldnt it be that way? There are people iv seen in work and on facebook for example who are wanting tickets yet dont go to that many games. Lass at my work was saying it was wrong her family wont get to go but none of them at season card holders, go to one or two games a season and recently went to a couple games because they used a friends ticket who was away on holiday and won some tickets(southampton game). Yet they think its shocking they have virtually no chance of wembley....I just told her straight that she has no chance[DOUBLEPOST=1390554559][/DOUBLEPOST]
not a chance it could be done in 2 days  would be carnage

No they won't, phase 1 could have 25% top price tickets, 25% nice price, 25% next, then 25% next.

Priority should be given to those who went to the league cup games.
Can't agree mate, and I fall into that category. Only missed the Southampton game in this cup run but gave up me season ticket 3 years ago so I'm struggling. However, there are so few perks to being a season ticket holder these days that they MUST have priority on such an occasion. 1 per ST holder is spot on. People who attended the cup run should get next dibs, but that horse has bolted. Whatever happened to vouchers for attending cup games?

Those moaning are probably the same people who bragged about getting cheaper tickets every week on Stubhub.
that's nonsense like. Effectively penalising young supporters for being born later than other people.

The club's only guaranteed income over the season from supporters comes from season card holders. They'd be silly if they didn't value our "custom" slightly higher.

So someone who's had and paid for a ticket for a season ticket every year for 20 years doesn't deserve one more than some who's had one for 1 year and attended a few away games? Talk about loyalty points, keeping one on for twenty odd years is loyalty!

Yep, any supporter who has stuck with the club through the 15/19 point season, deserves their day at Wembley. Nearly all youngus in their 20s go to away games and stuff, do they deserve one more? I'd say they deserve one too, but not until the 20 year gang have a ticket. There are only 12,000 people who have had a season ticket every season since the SOL opened.[DOUBLEPOST=1390555964][/DOUBLEPOST]

Aye, and they'll allocate sensibly in blocks within each price band. They won't just allocate a load of random seats and leave individual seats for phase 2.

Season tickets first, attendees of cup games next. Poor sods like me that don't get to go half as often as we'd like these days in the scramble for anything left! It's the fairest way, unfortunately for me. Must admit the " I'm a better supporter than you because I go" argument does my head in though. I live bleeding miles away, am far from wealthy, provide short break respite at weekends for a young person with learning disabilities and autism and suffer from not being at the game every bloody week! I love the club just as much as when I was single, living in the Northeast and didn't have other responsibilities!

I'm a season ticket holder and have been for over 20yr and I miss half the games because I work away 5-5 but when I'm home I don't miss a home match cup or otherwise I could easily give my season ticket up especially with some of the shite last few years, but I've had same seat since stadium opened and I know everyone around me and its in my blood as earlier posts say 15 ,19 point season was the time to give up no renewed and blamed it on habit..

I agree with ST's first. Has to be the way.

After that though I'd say general sale, first come first served. So many permutations on why people can and can't go to games on a weekly basis I think it's best to just give everyone the same standing.

Im in that band, and had one say 10 yr at Roker too.

Yet work and kids have meant Ive done only 1 away for the last 8 or so seasons. Regularly miss cup games.

Do I deserve one. Yes, and a freckling medal the size of a binlid.

The ubers whove been diehards for 5 or 6 years, we`ve only ever been a top flight club in that period. Have a whine in 20 odd years if you`ve suffered about 80% of your time supporting the lads outside the top flight.

My dad stated he doesn't deserve a ticket last night. Suppose he`s right. Backed off recently after 50 years true support. Can guarantee there`ll be thousands at Wembley though, in their 40s 50s n 60s, with a couple of dozen games under their belt.

Aye, I'm in the same situation. I'd have been well fucked off if some kid who has just started supporting the lads got one because he'd been to a few away games this season. Anyone can be uber in their early 20s, I never missed a game then.

Thankfully my dad also has a season ticket so we'll get to go to Wembley together for the first time. He's 68 so sadly (knowing Sunderland) - it'll be first and last time!

I guess in 2014 like like it should be that difficult to award a point for every appearance.

Give ST holders 19 points automatically, plus say 4 bonus points.

A casual attended who gets to every home game would accrue 19 and be next in line.[DOUBLEPOST=1390558933][/DOUBLEPOST]

Special. Enjoy (win or lose).

Yes - agree season tickets with loyalty points, then season tickets without loyalty points should get first dibs but two weeks to sort seems long. Should be two days then general sale.

Are you for real?

I know mate, can't wait, win lose or draw it'll be a special moment.[DOUBLEPOST=1390559088][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yep, and reward renewal, so people think twice about jacking it in as soon as we're relegated. In fact, they should reward special status after x amount of continuous years as a season ticket holder, it would discourage dropping it after every relegation.

5 bonus points for season ticket in year 1
10 in year 2
15 in year 3 etc

All bonus points lost the minute you don't renew. Reward real loyalty. For away games though I think they've got it right. I don't think I should get priority over kids who have been going to every away match for the last couple of years, they deserve it more than me.

ST holders who attend away yes. Casuals who attend away no.

Some wont like this but..... away league games create loads of hassle for the club and nil income.

Aye, that's what I meant, I doubt there are many people who go to every home and away game yet don't buy a season ticket.

Probably the worst post I've ever read on here, the OP.

Season ticket holders take precedent. Its been easy watching the cup man. Try watching the league games year in, year out. Now THAT is support!!

I still haven't got any loyalty points from the United cup away game (don't matter as I have enough) but do they not count?
