Season Ticket Holders shouldnt get first dabs on Wembley Tickets

Priority should be given to season ticket holders who have held their ticket for the longest period of time, then those with priority points for both cup and away games, then the rest should be up for grabs in a Battle Royale style.

I'd go season ticket holders then those who'd attended previous cup games before general sale.

but then you would have non season ticket holders that have been to more games than those who went to a league cup game kicking off,
I think the fairest way to do it is the way they have to be honest,
or say get to the game sat and wed to be in with a shout of a ticket!!

If you wanted the kid to have priority for cup final tickets you should have bought them a season ticket.

Everyone knows SC holders have priority. To twist now is just sour grapes

I will be but since the 1st cup game was only the 3rd game she'd been to in her 4yrs I'll continue to enjoy my sour grapes!

Just out of curiosity were you at all the cup games?

a non season ticket holder attending 13-14 games and paying on the day who then goes to every cup match pays more in than a SC holder i would think

If that scenario applies above then they have themselves to blame on not getting a ticket for both financial reasons and also perks of a season ticket which are obvious such as this situation

that's nonsense like. Effectively penalising young supporters for being born later than other people.

The club's only guaranteed income over the season from supporters comes from season card holders. They'd be silly if they didn't value our "custom" slightly higher.

Should put all tickets on sale at Wembley tomorrow morning at 8am, cash only, one per person to stop all this bickering.[DOUBLEPOST=1390521626][/DOUBLEPOST]
How about those of us who have watched all the games on the internet
Carry on as normal?[DOUBLEPOST=1390521892][/DOUBLEPOST]
It's always been like that, but has never been an issue to us before for obvious reasons. My guess is 10000 of those tickets end up touted. It's wrong but we'll never change it. It makes the already filthy rich FA feel loved.
I thought that was the case in the FA cup as they give tickets to all the local associations and workers as reward, but that in the league cup a much bigger percentage was shared out amongst the two teams. But I suppose there are more sponsors these days. :(

I'm desperate to go and don't have a season ticket, simply because I work 90% of the weekends every year so makes no sense to get a season ticket, and although I'll be extremely disappointed if I can't get a ticket, I can't think of a fairer way to do it. Unfortunately for me and many others, the people with season tickets should get priority.

The only way I could think of it being better would be if they did it like an o2 presale, sell to season ticket holders on a wed, then general public from the friday, instead of making us wait

Yes - agree season tickets with loyalty points, then season tickets without loyalty points should get first dibs but two weeks to sort seems long. Should be two days then general sale.

Terrible bait.
The vast majority who go to the cup games will be ST holders anyway.

^ Very much this.[DOUBLEPOST=1390523682][/DOUBLEPOST]
The points system and priority for SC holders is the fairest way to do it, it prioritises the ones who give the biggest financial outlay[/] which is fair enough.

I'd imagine anyone who doesn't agree with this is just bitter they don't qualify through such criteria.

For the record, I don't qualify. Thems the breaks.

It's not so much that it's for those that have sat freezing their nuts off through some horrendous performances over the years.

I guess your a Non ST Holder then  There doing it the fairest way possible. ST Holders are the life and blood of the club why should someone thats been to say 1 or 2 games get priority over someone that goes to most games
While I agree that SC holders should be the top of the pecking order re ticket allocation , the life and blood of the club right now is Ellis Short. Without his money we'd be a portmouth[DOUBLEPOST=1390529658][/DOUBLEPOST]
Know a few who have ST cards but never go, yet the first thing they did was text us saying 'see you March 2nd'. Makes me a bit sick tbf.
May make you sick but they have supported the club in the best way they can, they have bought a season card and put money in the coffers.
That they are unable to attend for various reasons is a moot point

I agree it's probably the fairest way they can do it, just annoying that some fans I know go to every game they can, which in some cases might be a match a month, but cannot afford an ST due to their situation so really in proportion you could argue they are supporting the club more (if that makes sense?) Obviously, it would be unfair to ask the club to look at each case individually, as this would be a massive ball ache for everyone concerned. So basically, we can moan all we want, but they're doing all they can. I just pray to God one of my mates comes through for me!

If there is limited tickets, I think they'd go with length of season ticket before loyalty points, in fact the club confirmed that would be their approach for a potential FA Cup final.[DOUBLEPOST=1390551859][/DOUBLEPOST]
Lots of replies, plenty of vitriol and insults. One of my better ones tbh.

Still think at the very least. Cup attendees should get a go at tickets before general sale mind

Not a bad idea, far better than your cup attendees before season ticket idea.[DOUBLEPOST=1390551946][/DOUBLEPOST]

That's how they'll do it for the FA Cup Final. If someone has had a season ticket unbroken for 20 years, through the 15, 19 point season etc, they deserve a Wembley ticket over someone who has just started going home and away.

I've got a season ticket but haven't been to an away game since the Roy Keane promotion season. I have been to every home cup game this season though but still have no loyalty points. Surprised ST holders who attend the home cup games don't get some sort of loyalty points like, especially for turning up in the early rounds, eg MK Dons, etc when other lazy\tight bastards couldn't be arsed to go. A ST holder might not bother going to any of the home cup games yet go to the OT game as their first ever away game, get a loyalty point and get a final ticket ahead of me.

Not a major gripe as I'll definitely get a cup final ticket through my ST - just would have been nice to be in the first wave of final tickets so me and my marras get more chance of getting seats together.

I'm not an ST holder anymore but they should go to ST holders. Reward consistent investment in the club.

Can't your mates just wait until phase 2?

Yeah, we can, so like I said its not a major gripe as we'll still def get a ticket, just not sure if we would still get 3 sat together by that stage. Probably will like so no harm done.
