Me da whose been watching us nearly 60 year and a season ticket holder for most of that time shouldn't be allowed to go? Only game he missed in the cup run was Southampton and the reasons were pretty justified.

Ironically my mates is a season ticket holder who is working away when the final is on, so I could actually bag myself a ticket if I wanted one

So what about the ST holders who love in London and can't make midweek games?

I got a season ticket on the back of the 1992 cup run as I had to camp out for semi final tickets after going to every home game that season and a few aways too. I managed to get 2 tickets for the final and gave 1 to a mate who lived in London. We'd just started sitting in the clock stand so it was a no brainer really.

Over the last couple of years I haven't bothered going to the cup games as much and more or less gave up going away about 4 years ago. I did go to the home semi final. I'll be at Wembley after 22 years of watching my fair share of shite every other weekend :)

a non season ticket holder attending 13-14 games and paying on the day who then goes to every cup match pays more in than a SC holder i would think
Unlikely, given various offers.

St buyers allow the club to plan a budget, casual fans dont.

Cup Finals are full of hard luck ticket stories, I had a season ticket for nigh on 20 years until I moved too far away, now it's tough tits if I don't get one.....but I will, by hook or crook.

Season ticket holders should be quite rightly given priority over non season ticket holders as theyve shown their blind faith and loyalty up front.

all those whinging threads about cheap tickets and season ticket holders getting screwed mean nothing now!!

To be honest mate the gate receipts in general ( and certainly not from folk who go every so often)are not that important in the total clubs finances these days given the fact that so much coin comes from TV rights.............

Season ticket holders getting priority is undoubtedly correct though..

How about ST holders get priority as they show a commitment financial to the club then once ST holders are sorted out the remainder of tickets go to people who attended say 4 or 5 of the cup games, obviously that may be difficult if we get away games but people need to realise there's no way that you can keep so many people happy. If I didn't have a ST I possibly wouldn't have been able to get a ticket for last night or the final that's the way it is.

People wanting cheap deals, getting season ticket holders to get cut price tickets, getting school handouts, only goin to the cup games cause they were 10 quid a pop then crying like little bitches when ST holders go to the front of the queue.

If loyalty is what we go by, then only give tickets to the 11.5 k that went to the chester game in the league cup in 2004. I'll dig out my ticket stub.

yes. its fair.

my mate got royally screwed over in 1992 for a cup final ticket with them stupid voucher things.

why should someone who hasnt been to one cup match take priority over someone who has been to them all

Because many of our fans pay £300 plus to watch the lads and go to every home game compared to somehow who goes to cup games when the tickets are usually around £10. Completely understand if people can't afford a ST, but ST holders should always get priority.

Yes agree with the first point, 100% correct.

But we cough up the biggest part of the gate receipts pot. Weve endure shit for 5/10/15/20 years, how could anyone bugrudge a st holder a ticket.

i`m not begrudging them one, am just saying (if there was a way of proving) that a lad who had gone to all 6 league cup games should be in the same pot
