Season card question

It's a football club, not a printing shop. They're not gonna shell out for the equipment to have the lasses in the ticket office printing out 22k bits of plastic, setting permissions for the cards, packaging them up and taking them down the post office.

That said I'd have thought they wouldn't leave it right until the last minute. The week before the game is cutting it fine if there are problems like things going missing in the post, but there's still two working weeks to go.

Why not, seemed to work ok in days gone by. What's changed like.

They won't ever have been printed up in house. They don't print tickets up in house. They come from a specialist printer. They just print the details on.

I know the ticketing system has changed this season, though whether that's made a difference to the cards being printed I don't know.

It's a matter of fact that some season card holders seats are now going to be empty when if the tickets had come in good time they would be occupied. No worries though as long as you're happy mate.

Why are these seats going to be empty then?

Because a number of people have posted on a few threads that they are now away on hols and won't be able to pass their s cards to loved ones, friends and family etc. Whilst the rules might in their strictest adherence prohibit this practice everybody including the club knows it happens, indeed it's probably to be encouraged, more occasional attendees who might actually enjoy the experience and buy a season card themselves. That's why these season card seats will now be empty.

A former colleague of mine is coming home (Berwickshire) from London next Monday for a break and for the match, that's just five days of post left for him for his season card to materialise or he misses the game. What contingency can there be for that, are you suggesting it's fair and reasonable in this event (should it happen) that he should then have to spend probably many fruitless hours trying to get through to a human being at the club by phone or email.

The new cards should have been issued by now, it's poor show from the club.

Is that it ? People on holiday anyway and your mate ?
Well there has always been a solution for season ticket holders attending without their season ticket , so I imagine that solution will still be available.

This is just people moaning for the sake of moaning and wanting to have an unnecessary dig at the club .
Oh , and the predicted disaster is not not going to happen, funnily enough.

Is that it you say, really shite attitude that.

I guess the sender waits a while?

Must stuff sent first class locally is there the next day.
And for those of us who don’t live locally? The club once upon a time claimed that 33% of season ticket holders do not have a NE postcode
