Season card fiasco

10 mins before kick off in the BCB yesterday they decided to shut the men’s toilet.

Cleaner at the door saying know one is allowed in as we are waiting for it to empty so I can refill the towel dispensers.

Queue was getting bigger and bigger and at one point they suggested using the one disabled toilet. It got to around 2.55 and poeople just barged in the toilet in the end.
Why couldn’t the clowns refill the dispensers between 3 and 3.45??

They also had security on in there yesterday, few at front door and inside.
Apparently there was bother first game which I didn’t see and I was in there 12.30 till 6. I think it’s more to do with how unorganised they were, the fact people were waiting 20 minutes at half time for a beer.

Maybe it's not just SAFC but some new ticketing app/software. Southampton had thousands also locked out, waiting to get in 20 + minutes after kick off. ALL REFUNDED BY THE CLUB.according to Sky.

Nope my lot at QPR is just a big as farce
Our pre season friendly against Leicester the e ticket would only let one person in who had multiple tickets for others , leaving people outside and the stewards just standing there like plums
It then happened again against Millwall leaving people stranded and not being allowed in the ground until half time, it’s a shambles
It’s not rocket science , stick some people on the fcuking turnstiles I mean it’s only worked the last 100 odd years

I have been vocal on here about my new SC not turning up, but I can confirm that my new white one worked yesterday.
I think some of the front line staff have been working under great difficulty and have probably been the brunt of peoples frustrations. With what has gone on the club should have delivered at least an update on the official site (don't thing that was to much to ask) when it was apparent these were not isolated incidents.

But the computer say's NO !

Bit of a shambles the ticketing all round. I tried to buy one for Wimbledon on Monday night, wouldn't let me on my phone so was gonna wait till I could get on the computer.

In that time my mate had said I could use his season ticket as he was away so worked out good for me but the club lost £25 quid because their system is a mess.

Didn't want to bring this up yesterday to avoid bringing negativity on a day when we've won , but another season card f*** up. One of our group (all of us season ticket holders for 30 years), couldn't get in. There has been no change to any of our circumstances but the rest of us get in and he doesn't. He is advised to go to the ticket office and when he does there's around 100 others in the same situation (some very irate). He is issued with another card which doesn't work, goes back to the office and gets yet another one which also doesn't work. He eventually gets in on 41 minutes after a IT worker at the club lets him in with his pass. A total shambles and this is what you get when you become totally reliant on technology. When it becomes apparent that there was a problem, the priority should have been to get a gate open and let them into the ground ASAP, not pissing about with replacement cards. I trust these people will be getting refunded
The possible downside of putting all their eggs in one basket all in one hit was pointed out on here but promptly shouted down by all the cool kids.

Especially when your phasing in an untested way of doing things. Should have put the system in place and had manual staff for when it goes wrong.

By half way through the season itll probably be sorted but your just pissing people off for the first half with all the problems.

Both toilets?

The person responsible for this needs to come forward and at least explain what has gone wrong, what they’ve learned from it, and what measures have been put in place to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Letting the front line troops take the flak for this is unprofessional and a little bit cowardly.

From what I can see no one is being critical of the club because they feel like it.

Genuine fans are being messed about and the Club making it ridiculusly difficult for people just to turn up and pay with cash or over the telephone. We must be loosing out on significant income.

It needs sorting about before genuine supporters just say fk it and spend their money and time on easier pastimes.

Whoever is responsible at the Club for making it easier to get into Fort Knox than the SOL really needs to be looking for a new job imho.

Agreed. But it also should have been trialled and had a proper plan in place in the event of it going pear shaped. Going all in from the get go was a huge gamble IMO.

I know three people who would have been at the match yesterday if it had been easy for them just to turn up and pay so add another £75 to that.

We had 20.000 empty seats yesterday - why or why are we making things so difficult for fans to support the club?
