The pay car parks and spaces are largely empty in comparison with a normal Monday morning. The free car parks had plenty of takers.

Plenty of cars parked yeserday afernoon and plenty of parking tickets dished out, so they'll not be back.

£3 parking paid.
Clearly less cars there than normal.
Noticeable drop in Footfall around Seaham and the seafront.
Look Out Cafe on Marina seemed very quiet. Staff suggesting car parking the issue.
Seems like Seaham has been a real beneficiary of the Covid Pandemic with more people in the habit of going out walking and then using local businesses. Lots of new developments still ongoing.
Shame that these charges seem to be having a negative effect on footfall just as the general trend is positive foe the area.
