The relatively unknown " sugar sands" in Northumberland are my favourite.Dont forget to pay the farmer the ten bob( 50 p to the young uns!)in the honesty box on the way down.Magical place.Mind so are many beaches in the north eaat.
Well worth a look if you are ever in Northumberland..

Seaburn has sand, That's it.

Another cracker mate,unspoilt and relatively quiet for its location...hope Seaham wins mind...it is really canny along the front these days
