Too much junk food available for them nowadays. The food waste at landfill is alarming, then there is the takeaway food strewn about every village, town and city across the country.

Yep! You cannot blame the birds when we as society in general, provide them with the resources they need by being inconsiderate litter louts. They are just taking advantage of scratter behaviour and failing standards.

Our lass (no) decided to put a plastic bag full of rubbish out for the bin men, cause the green bin was full.
Woke up at 4am to the bag all over the street and loads of gulls fighting an out of date pizza.
Seen some one down shields last week feeding then, nutter.

We live in a village with no take always or tips but we a plagued by them as soon as there’s a sea running. Horrible creatures what have mad a successful career out of mans waste

How on earth they are on a protected list is beyond me. There was a bloke on here a few weeks back kicking off at the suggestion of a cull.
