How's he playing this season? Edit - particularly bowling

He seems to pick up wickets quite regularly and chip in with a few runs but he seems to be brought on as the last of the bowlers all of the time.

Just part of his development or do the captains not have enough faith in him yet?

is one of leading wicket takers at an average around 24/25.

before the lancs games he had taken more wickets than blacky despite bowling half the overs at a much much better ave. maybe more even now.

basically, hes been awesome, also averageing around 25/30 iirc with bat so a very good alround performance

My dads mate at work used to play with him when he was still at a club team, and he still talks to Scott's dad, my dads mate has said to his dad that he feels that he isnt been getting a fair chance and reckons that he should move on at the end of the season, as he is arguably the best bowler in the team at the min and is usually last bowler to come on

read that a few times and it makes less and less sense but i sort of follow.

as for the rest - can you really argue with the decision making when we've just won by an innings three games on the trot?

i can see the point but realistically its still early on in his career, hes playing as the second spinner behind blacky, anyone suggesting he should move on wants to keep their mouth shut IMO

i agree, he is what? 20? he will learn his trade and become better gradually getting more and more overs, rather than being thrown in at the deep end. he has to prove he can bowl well constantly and then he will have earned his chance

I don't think there is any argument. He's not even in the top 5 bowlers in the team.

Harmy,Onions,Thorp,Blackwell, Borthwick i reckon hes 5th tho Claydon and Davis wud props b ahead if they played enough games.
