Do you think Scotland would beat a team made up of the best players from North east cub cricket with say one pro from the county, not Macleod. I like a bet but would not be putting any money on them to do it.

And the two best after that involved Ireland (vs West Indies) and Afghanistan (vs Sri Lanka). If anything, they should be looking at increasing the number of teams involved and decreasing group size - 3 groups of 5 or 4 groups of 4.

This. For me I'd increase the number of associate nations. You could easily have four more, making a nice round 16 in the tournament- four groups of four, top two progressing and play 2 games a day to shorten it. One game a day is ridiculous.
