Scotland CMO breaks rules to visit second house

Utterly arrogant behaviour. How can she claim 'human error'? It wasnt an error it was a conscious decision.

She should be sacked. Or demoted anyway if they really do need her.

This.
Her position is completely untenable now, and Sturgeon defending her is a grave error of judgement.
I’m struggling to believe that no-one else in Scotland is qualified to take over her role, mind. Someone with some sense of responsibility, common sense and ethics.

She broke her own rules, knowing more than most what the ramifications were. Not once but twice. It’s staggering that anyone could back her now, and it’s a disgrace she wasn’t fined.

I'm sure she has some great qualities that enable her to be CMO (ethics not one of them), but it's not like she's a leading epidemiologist or public health specialist that brings her own specialised knowledge to the fight. She's an Obs/Gyn specialist. I can't believe there isn't a deputy or other highly qualified medic who could step into the job. It's terrible timing for a change, but of her own making. She has zero credibility now. Sheer arrogance.

It’s an odd one. Logic would dictate that going from your house, to your car, to another house and have no other interaction would barely increase the risk of catching/spreading it at all. I suppose the culmination of those tiny increases in risk over a few weeks (filling up more for fuel etc) can easily be avoided though. The loss of credibility makes it a stupid thing to do.

I can't believe that Sturgeon was prepared to stand by her and allow her to stay in post.
The message that it sent is a green light for the fuckwits who are flouting the rules
The SNP will be damaged by this

Also it’s if you have an accident and tie up paramedics, police, fire brigade and are then carted off to a stretched NHS mate.
