No still no definite date for The Bridge 4. Just 'May'. But you've already seen it. :) Hoping all goes well with the procedure. And if you're at a loss for something to watch I can recommend a few things on Netflix.
Someone told me earlier on that The Bridge 4 will be shown on BBC2 from 19 May. But I haven't been able to find out if it is right or not.

I'm just too impatient. I dread to think of how annoyed I'll be if they don't do the 2 episode format we're used to on bbc4. :)
How about one episode each week with the odd break week with no episodes when the World Cup kicks off and BBC2 decides to show Australia v Peru instead. :p

:eek: I hope you haven't suggested that to the Bbc! I would likely end up doing something drastic...like invading a live recording of bbc Breakfast and supergluing myself to the sofa! Not pretty. :)

Binge watching Rita just now. I'm glad I read this thread as I would have missed out on what is a very funny show (I just used to scroll over it on Netflix). And although I've seen season 4 of The Bridge the BBC aren't half dragging their heels on airing it. Maybe it's just me but I always felt it was a show you should watch on the dark winter nights with a glass or three of wine.

It pleases me no end that you are enjoying Rita. It is a little gem of a series.

Huge fan of Rita. Lovely performances. Even though there just seems to be twenty odd pupils in the entire school at times! Mille Dinesen is very personable and I'm very jealous of her long, long legs!

good, watched the 1st series of Marcella last week because a woman my wife works with was raving about it.............. i should have trusted my instinct, utter crap
I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Anna Friel, so that put me off. The 15 mins I did see she was having badly acted (imo) histrionics in the loo. That only confirmed my former opinion.

Being younger than her I'm jealous of how good she looks in a pair of jeans! (I'm female btw)

Aye I used to scroll over it thinking it wasn't for me. It was probably due to my ignorance thinking the comedy wouldn't work with me reading the subtitles. Happy to say I was wrong and I absolutely love it. I've just started season 3 so still a fair bit of viewing left.
Series four is a little bit different and may take a couple of episodes to get used to but if you stick with it the final episode is all worth it.

I have been trying to get more people to give the series a go for some time. My main problem isn't getting folks to watch it but more coming up with an answer before they do when asked which genre it is. I still haven't made my mind up if it is comedy or drama or social realism or something else. Probably a mix of them all but with a typical Scandi way of doing it. It is far from Noir but enjoyable nevertheless.

She came runner-up in our Strickly Come Dancing a couple of years or so back. Some of the glittery outfits she wore made her legs look even longer.
