thought they were too close together for "huge" extensions, mainly semis aren't they? 400k hell of a lot for a semi

    It’s a Corner plot.

Aye fair enough, his street is probably the exception rather than the rule though.

They are bigger than the D’s, but as you say, a lot of them have had extensions.

I think it’s more to do with the fear of the unknown mate.

Pretty sure I've seen one of the grumbling hinnys on #saveseaburn complaining about the bloke with the tractor. Well this'll stick in her craw.

Grew up there, this has been planned for longer than ten years, when for no reason the goals and rugby pitch was removed and a no golf sign (understandable given the large amount of walkers that use it) was put up. It is still widely used but as others have said best preserved and used again as recreation as it’s basically the last green space in the area. However I have 100% confidence the council won’t do what’s best as they continually prove.

    Widely used for dog shitting.

Seaburn needs more housing. It's a good spot for it and it will help to bring further private investment in to the beach.

    Ha'way the houses.

The campaign group need to be honest about this. If they want green spaces to walks dogs etc, then thats fine. But they then have to accept there will be little investment in the area, and take full responsibility if visitor numbers drop & business pulls out of the area.

If they want investment & the area regenerated, then they have to accept housing & car parking.

Look at Seaham as an example, but the campaign group deny the existance of east shore village.

Afraid that you’re talking dog shit if that’s even a genuine feeling. If the councils removed the recreation possibility by taking the goals away then obviously not as wide variety of activities will be enjoyed. You’re lacking any clue if you think it’s only used by dog walkers. Kite surfers, kids use it for football still, runners etc.

There are far better brownfield sites for affordable housing nearby, so that is also dog shite.

This isn't going to be affordable housing.
It's going to attract and keep people with money in the city
