Sausage or Bacon



Hate ketchup me. Not fussed on brown either. Mustard with sausage is lush
 
Until last year or so, bacon. I’d been a sausage man for many years due to the 2 butchers local to me: Gowland’s and Bathgate’s in high Barnes. Phenomenal sausages. Absolutely lusharoon. They then pretty much both retired and shut up within a year or two of each other. I was bereft. Since then, I’ve been on a wandering sausage quest looking for a sausage to match the quality of these two master butchers. And could I find one? Could I fûck.


That was until I sampled the Hog Roast Sausage from Haswell’s at Homer Hill. Tremendous. Flavoured to perfection.


So bacon can go back to being the second love of my food life.
