Any SMBers been? What's your experience of the place and people?. A mate works in place that teaches the Saudi coppers forensics. Canny blokes by all account, love the fish and chips and hookah pipes

Mate of mine worked there for double salary 6 months. Said it was full of uneducated ignorant morons and one of the worst places he's ever visited.

He did brew his own cider in his apartment while he was there which I thought was risky as fuck though

0 tolerance on alcohol has led to black market production and sale at prohibition style gatherings. Locals can get a slap on the wrist for transporting it around, but the law and reality for ex pats is jail time....only came across this knowledge when planning a work visit some weeks back, wondering what the craic would be if I got drunk and made a scene, turns out I had nothing to worry about!
