SAUCE ON STEAK

Well I think people should do what they like...

Personally, cook it in butter well seasoned with salt and pepper and rare - medium rare. 😋😋

I used to sometimes have sauce on a steak until I went to Italy about 10 years and shared a massive tommahawk with my then wife. Best meal I've ever eaten - still dream about it sometimes :D

Had the best chateaubriand I’ve ever had last evening in an Argentinian restaurant in London.
It came with both peppercorn sauce and a nice bearnaise.

Usually do mine, Ribeye, bashed, seasoned, olive oil, sea salt & black pepper and perhaps a
smear of dark soy sauce. 3 mins each side in a griddle pan and rest for 5 mins. I sometimes do a garlic and parsley butter if I can be arsed.
I’m hungry now! 😋
