SAUCE ON STEAK

Mrs (aye I don't care ) puts a thin layer of french mustard on hers the dirty cow. Told her so anarl. Anyhoo I tried it and it was very nice tbh. Wouldn't tell her that tho. Can't have poncy french shite on me scran can I.
Dijon?

I like a bit mustard with steak, but on the side so I can choose whether to put it on piece by piece.

I cooked two lovely ribeyes last night.

Deglazed the pan with some red wine. Made up some vegetable stock with one of those little tubs of gooey stuff and plenty water. Yucked it in the pan and let it reduce down. Poured in the juices from the resting meat. Ended up with amazing sauce/thick gravy that the kids love over their long sliced tender steak pieces.

Put f***ing salad cream on it if you want, it’s your steak, eat it how you want.
i worry about what the smb thinks too much even though i enjoy peppercorn sauce. last fillet steak i had i used nowt on it

this place rules me way too much like. always think of the 'top dog' posters when making financial decisions

If it’s a good cut of meat, cooked to your liking and nicely seasoned then for a lot of people there is no need for a sauce.

A well rested piece of steak is lovely but a sauce does add something as long as it’s not drowning in it.
