That team selection was funny to me. I believe it was picked for a reason.

McLaughlan - Contract up in the summer
Ozturk - Contract up in the summer
Flanagan - Contract up in the summer
De Bock - loan finishes in the summer
O'Nien - Contract up in the summer
McNulty - loan finishes in the summer

The reason it was picked was an attempt to not get beaten - he picked a team to try and get a 0-0 (or fluke a lucky goal for a 1-0 win). It was nothing more machiavellian than Parkinson being so afraid of losing that he wasn't prepared to try and win.
