SAS who dares wins

Just realised who Chris is. Used to watch him run for Sunderland harriers when he was a kid, was in my brothers relay teams. Nice lad. Done well for himself. Good to see.

Thought that was a Sunderland accent. Where’s he from?

See there’s a blabbering wreck from the start. Scared of heights and raised voices. “I was bullied and my boy friend left me because I wasn’t good enough” Aye, I’ll go on SAS and prove everyone I’m a tough nut……not.

He's in for the entertainment value no doubt...

But in reality, he's the kind of person the Special Forces like. If he conquers those fears he will make a far tougher nut than those who go in arrogant and expecting to win.

I remember a previous season a lad who overcame his claustrophobia while swimming through a cave. He was in bits at the end, but scored huge respect for doing it.... moreso than those who breezed through it, and moreso than those who pretended it didn't phase them

Facing your fears is a skill they can't teach. You do it or dont, and everyone is scared of something

Success is on the far side of fear 👍🏻 I was trying to learn something once and couldn’t quite grasp it,a wise head told me anyone can learn it but not everyone has the cojones to do what lay at the end of the training.
