Santo could go to Stoke.

I'd be surprised if he did come to us. I expect us to go foreign this time though. I wouldn't be surprised at Slavisa Jokanovic. Owners really like him and have tried in the past and was at Sheffield United with our current Head of Recruitment.

Is he a name your surprised that doesn't crop up? You'd think he'd be a target.
A young up and coming manager may easily be manipulated with regards to our recruitment.

A manager who is established would have walked the way we’ve gone about it when it comes to centre forwards.

Hardly thinking outside of the box mind.

Did a very good job at Wolves with loads of money and still served up absolute snooze-ball.

Not right for us.

Wage demands will make even Denise Coates think twice.
He looked physically and mentally drained after the covid hit season. But there's a hell of a lot of retrospective slagging him off, particularly due to that ill-fated Spurs spell - which actually started with him being manager of the month for August.

He won the Championship with 99 points (thanks Sunderland for that 3-0 final day drubbing). Admittedly he was helped with Uncle Jorge's signings.

But, we were an exciting team to watch for that Championship season and the first two Prem ones. I ended up on a YouTube spiral last week and some of those games... I was there at the Riverside when we finally beat the Middlesbrough curse even with 9 men, the two missed penalties at the death for Cardiff, the furore he caused in the Bristol City exec box, he absolutely wore his heart on his sleeve and was adored by the fans until it sadly went sour.

Finished seventh the first season after promotion to progress into Europe, and got to the semi finals of the FA Cup, and should have gone through but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Beat Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd in that first season up too. Second season got to the quarter finals of the UEFA cup.

In the end, he tried to drop the safety net of counter attacking football and five at the back, going to a back four, which we all know Conor Coady can't play. Had to go back to a back five and trying to grind out results, and that's probably why we lost any goodwill amongst opposition fans and the quality of football went through the floor - there was that hideous run of not scoring in the first half of games.

But those first three years man, comfortably the best Wolves manager in my lifetime, it was weird going into PL games and expecting to win them. Much as I loved the underdog years under Mick McCarthy, you assumed defeat before every PL game.
