cal don't let them get you down mate, more than half on here must be kids under 14 cos they ain't got a clue about the real footy world, key board warriors

He was great early on at Spurs, then went not very good at all. Not really sure how he's got on at QPR to comment on him.

I know what you're saying but my point is I think we need someone who is an improvement on seb and catts. If he's the best we can do then as I said he's better than Gomez , Rodwell and ola but it's not going to be the difference maker in regards to staying up sadly.

Given how often we're having to rely on those lads it would certainly help us in that respect, because those lads have already players too many games and caused problems for us.

I think people need to get realistic in this window - quality footballers is something we won't get. Plenty of sides are showing with the right team ethic and hard work you have a chance. If we can get several people in on short term contracts or average players who give us a bit more whom buy into the work ethic and principles Allardyce uses then it'll give us a greater chance than just one or two players with ability. Whether Sandro is one of the ones I'm talking about is anyones guess though.

I think sandro is one of those 'has ability needs a kick up the arse and a good manager' type players. Alongside catts and mvila id say it would be a powerful and hard working midfield... not words we've used about our midfield for a while mind. Could be a good buy
